SUND Technology Joins Hands with Italy's DV Company to Enhance European Localization Layout

Hunan SUND Technology Co., Ltd. (SUND Technology, SZSE: 301548), together with its subsidiary SUND Europe GmbH (SUND Europe Center) and Italy-based De Vecchi Fratelli (DV Company), officially signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement. This signing will significantly enhance the company's localized service capabilities for gas turbine bearings in the European market and accelerate its integration into the high-end European energy equipment supply chain.

DV Company, a family-owned enterprise with a history of more than 70 years in Italy, focuses on the precision processing and professional maintenance of sliding bearings. It boasts mature workshops, equipment, technical teams and local logistics networks, providing fast-response localized support for the European market. As a leading enterprise in China's sliding bearing industry, SUND Technology has been consolidating its domestic market while continuously advancing the internationalization of high-end markets. Europe, with its strict technical standards and service requirements, has become the core region of its global strategy.

According to the cooperation agreement, the three parties will jointly build an integrated local service system covering warehousing, logistics, maintenance and inspection. Relying on its local resources and processing & maintenance capabilities, DV Company will provide efficient nearby services; SUND Europe Center, a German-based subsidiary with a registered capital of 25,000 euros and mainly engaged in large industrial equipment trade, consulting and services, will undertake technical docking and order coordination to achieve efficient collaboration among the three parties in China, Germany and Italy.

Several key arrangements have been implemented in this cooperation. In the field of gas turbine bearings, DV Company has obtained the qualification of exclusive authorized distributor of SUND Technology's gas turbine bearings for Ansaldo Energia S.p.A., a world-leading full-cycle power generation company founded in 1853, and will be fully responsible for the development, order management and after-sales service of gas turbine bearings through this channel[8]. In the field of steam bearings, DV Company will exclusively undertake the steam turbine and generator bearing business for Ansaldo Energia, and may exclusively outsource the manufacturing link to SUND Technology, forming an efficient collaborative model of “local service + made in China”.

Meanwhile, the three parties will set up a horizontal assembly spare parts warehousing center at DV Company, with full-series products such as bearings, seals and oil rings kept in stock, enabling 24-hour fast delivery. This center will directly serve global leading energy equipment enterprises including ABB, Nidec, GE Vernova, Siemens Energy and Andritz, an international industrial group founded in 1852 in Austria专注于 hydropower turbines, pumps and other equipment.

This cooperation has filled the gap in SUND Technology's localized services in Europe and realized the transformation from product export to in-depth landing of “manufacturing + service”. Through resource integration with DV Company, SUND Technology can get closer to the needs of European customers, shorten delivery cycles, improve response speed, and further strengthen its international competitiveness in the sliding bearing field. As a key step in its global layout, this cooperation will help SUND Technology deeply integrate into the European industrial chain and lay a solid foundation for its long-term development in the high-end energy equipment market.
